💠Review
Honestly, the creation myth and myths in general in this series were cool and just about the only thing carrying it.
There's a lot that didn't make sense nor was explained, plot points were abandoned left and right through this whole series. There was also barely any breathing room, because BOOM, more drama! It was exhausting.
Things were super inconsistent and the solutions were "convenient". Yeeran's mysterious connection with Pila(dunno how it's spelled), was just cropped up to "Oh, anyone in the cursed Fae city can become bound to an obeah." This huge mystery stretched across three fucking books, and that was the answer. Fuck off lmfao. Not to mention Yeeran was just...immune to shit. For no reason.
The characters, and even worse, the romances, were very shallow. I did not care for any of them. Well, I did like Golan(Golin?), but I felt like his relationship with the Fae prince was just? Forgotten about? LMFAO. I couldn't see why the characters liked each other, there was no chemistry at all.
I hated Lettle, holy shit.
