Not bad, just didn't grasp me I think.

I know, I know. It's weird I haven't finished an animal-focused book! I've tried reading Watership Down like four times now, I never finish for some reason.

Fun and fantastical book! Hard to follow at times, I can't say this type of medieval setting is my favorite.

Love reading about black sapphic couples. To be honest it's been a long time since I've read this and I can't remember too much. It didn't blow me away, but it was nice.

I loved, loved, LOVED Nona! The sweet little cinnamon roll. Her and her little family just felt so comfortable and sweet.

I didn't care for the kids.

I loved Ianthe and her sister, Coronabeth. They're so toxic. And GIDEON, oh my god, you bitch. 💕

The worldbuilding shared in this was awesome and I can't believe I missed the obvious. God is such an asshole, I like him lmfao.

As usual, some parts were hard to follow.

The ending was...mm. I dunno? I dunno.

The last book is planned to release 2029 and that's fucking devastating.

To be honest, the POV change turned me off from this at first. But then I came back around on it.

Can I just say, I absolutely love Harrowhark? The way her character has been expanded in this book is amazing. Ianthe is my second favorite character, I love how they interact with each other. This is my favorite book in the series.

Oh, and God is pretty funny.

Gideon is such a herbo, I love her.

Honestly, the LESBIANS IN SPACE thing is very misleading. This is not a lesbian story, at all. It just happens to have a lesbian, Gideon, in it.

The worldbuilding is really cool and the characters are intriguing, but there's just too damn many and that makes this hard to follow.

I loved the twists and turns in this book, and it was delightfully disturbing. 

Aaron's kind of annoying, but the man's grieving, I'll give him a break. To be honest, I'm not sure what he saw in his wife, but that's just me.

The end was...hm. Well, everything got wrapped up I suppose!
